ABOUT NORM
It was somewhere between 11th and 12th grade when
Norm realized for the first time that he had three testicles. He
wrote a song about his third nut to score chicks and establish superiority
over his dull bi-gonadic male peers. It was then that he realized
he had an aptitude for writing crappy songs about ridiculous subject
matter. Norm met Dave DeDionisio in 2006 and together they have
confused people that are half-way listening and generated awkwardness
and scattered applause from literally several, several different
audiences at various open-mic nights and other non-paying venues.
In 2007, Norm finished his first CD - a project recorded in his
living room. The 10 tracks on this album represent the passion and
genius of Norm Sherman’s music. Tales of dates gone awry,
stories of non-traditional milk sources, nightmares of Jesus DNA
being discovered and exploited, paranoid conspiracy theories about
the government and chupacabres - it all blends together with mediocre
banjo playing and Norm’s tender and sincere voice. You’ve
never heard anything like Norm Sherman, that’s for sure. Listen
for yourself, you’ll agree – “he’s
an entire testicle better than everybody else out there.”
